YAHCOB is an independent Christian artist working at the intersection of alternative R&B, pop, and hip-hop. His name means “to follow God” — and that's the whole story in two words: not arriving, but following.
Rooted in faith but grounded in real life, his music explores the tension between struggle and hope, brokenness and redemption. Not every song is a sermon. Some are about doubt. Some are about mistakes, love, purpose, or simply holding on to hope on an ordinary Tuesday. YAHCOB writes about the honest, messy reality of learning to follow God — because that's where most of us actually live.
Sonically, he pulls from contemporary R&B, melodic hip-hop, and alternative pop: smooth melodies, reflective lyrics, and modern production that moves between thoughtful, vulnerable, playful, and unexpected.
His upcoming single SURRENDER opens a new chapter, and his project REGEN documents a season of spiritual transformation — what it looks like to be made new while still very much in process.
